Project Description

Since 2013, Pivotal has provided executive consulting, continuous improvement and change leadership services for Swiss-based Givaudan, the world’s largest fragrance and flavors company.  Our work began in Fragrance Operations, where leaders faced challenging growth and efficiency goals.  We helped executives envision a continuous improvement culture, and formed a global network to plan the effort.  Pivotal consultants facilitated new governance processes, coached region/site management teams, and delivered multi-level training and coaching across Europe, Asia and the Americas.  As Fragrance Ops’ success helped accelerate continuous improvement across the company, our work expanded to include the Flavors Division, Supply Chain, IT, and Engineering.  Pivotal helped establish a continuous improvement mindset and build teamwork for the newly-forming Givaudan Business Solutions (shared services group) with hubs in Hungary, Argentina and Malaysia.  When COVID-19 hit, we worked with internal partners to quickly transition training programs and support to virtual delivery.

  • From January 2014 to November 2021, market capitalization nearly quadrupled, from 12 to 46 billion Swiss Francs
